Bitcoin is about $80,013, ETFs posted a third day of inflows, and the Fed held rates

Daily on Cardano
Bitcoin spent Thursday on the edge of $80,000. Around 14:15 Central European time CoinMarketCap holds it at $80,013, down 0.74 percent in its own window and down 0.73 percent from yesterday's $80,601. CoinGecko gives $80,035, down 0.76 percent. The working price is $80,013. At 07:42 a price-analysis headline at The Crypto Basic said bitcoin had lost the $80,000 level. The afternoon print here is $80,013. In the same hour ether is at $2,322.99, Solana at $100.52, and XRP at $1.2909.
Funds, and rates that stayed put
Farside for 28 October records Bitcoin plus $137.3 million, of which IBIT is plus $136.0 million and BITB plus $1.3 million. Ether is minus $21.4 million, Solana minus $5.7 million. On 27 October Bitcoin was plus $176.0 million, ether minus $60.2 million, Solana minus $19.2 million. On 26 October Bitcoin was plus $110.3 million, ether minus $88.6 million, Solana minus $8.2 million. Three Bitcoin pluses in a row add up to $423.6 million. That is the sum of those three rows. crypto.news cites a SoSoValue figure of $423.66 million. SoSoValue was not opened, so the match is to that cited figure, not to a fresh print. At 08:32 today Cointelegraph writes about $137 million and about an October that is green again. That sentence is their headline. That monthly claim stays with their headline.
On 28 October the Fed held rates at 3.75 to 4 percent. The vote was 10 to 2. Cook and Hammack wanted a 25 basis point increase. crypto.news writes that today at 09:59. CryptoSlate writes that markets see an 83 to 88 percent chance of an increase in December, and that the levels being watched are $90,000 and $75,800. That is their reading of the odds, not a Fed decision. At 13:39 today @BSCNews cites September PCE at 3.6 percent year on year. At 09:14 today Lider writes that the Fed is sticking with holding rates and that bitcoin is trading steadily. At 18:23 on 28 October Cryptoverse reported that bitcoin is defending $80,000 and that Galaxy had called the end of the bear market. That call of an ending is Galaxy's claim in their relay, not a measurement by this desk.

The network, and the pair against ADA
Around 14:16 mempool.space gives fees of 4, 3, 1, and 1 satoshi per virtual byte. The mempool holds 63,064 transactions. Height is 973,692. Hashrate is 1,089.1 exahash per second. The next difficulty adjustment is estimated at plus 5.61 percent, around 19:57 Central European time. Yesterday's estimate was plus 6.55 percent. The two times are not the same row.
In the same hour Bitcoin is down 0.73 percent and ADA is down 0.46 percent. ADA against bitcoin therefore rises from 250.8 to 251.5 satoshis, the first rise after three days of decline in the pair. The ETF inflows are not spilling into Cardano TVL, which is down 2.78 percent. A hawkish Fed and PCE at 3.6 percent keep the risk of a break under $80,000, and ADA usually answers that kind of drop with a higher beta. That is a scenario, not a forecast.
