DijkstraNet is on protocol 12 without Leios, and the vote for k of 1000 did not produce a mandate

Daily on Cardano
At 12:59 Central European time on 3 November, Intersect said DijkstraNet hard-forked at 00:00 UTC on 2 November to protocol version 12, without Leios. It asks stake pool operators, dApps, and developers to start integration testing. Mainnet is unchanged. The DijkstraNet endpoint did not answer today, so the post is the confirmation on hand. Dijkstra is the next ledger era. Phase 1 brings Linear Leios, which raises consensus throughput, and targets the fourth quarter of 2026. Peras activates later, as an intra-era hard fork inside Dijkstra.
Two pull requests merged on the release/11.2.x branch, and not into master. Pull request 6754, from 2 November, brings ouroboros-consensus 5.3. The description says memory use returns to the 11.0 level. Pull request 6756, from 3 November, caps MaxDelay at 3,600 slots, one hour on mainnet, and raises the block-protocol minor version to 3. Tag 11.2.1 does not exist. The latest tag in the 11 line is 11.2.0, a pre-release from 28 October. The latest stable release is 11.1.3. The Hard Fork Working Group minutes of 27 October say some 11.2 build will become mainnet-ready, and that 11.3 is realistically three to four weeks away.
The same minutes say an Amaru block producer on mainnet is planned for 5 November. Amaru has been producing empty blocks since build 10.11.20261022. The latest release is v10.11.20261029, from 29 October. @coinranking writes that in three days ADA will have blocks from two independent programs. The post has 25 likes. That is a plan from the minutes, not a confirmation that the producer is already on mainnet. No explicit pool-operator reaction to the DijkstraNet fork turned up in the sample of posts.

Votes
The information action for k of 1000 expired on 21 October without a mandate. SongMarketCap reported that at 20:10 on 2 November. Pool operators: 26 yes, 48 no, 1 abstain, with turnout of 9.8 percent. Yes was 210.5 million ADA, 2.2 percent of applicable stake. No was 1.91 billion. 7.37 billion did not vote. DReps: 44 yes, 38 no, 49 abstain. k stays at 500. Saturation stays about 75 million ADA. @LagyADA relays the result without comment. @Rahulkonudula thanks DRep @phil_uplc for a rationale on PFMS. That shows the conversation about proposals is still going, not that the threshold is close.
PFMS, 9.6 million ADA, is at 21.71 percent DRep yes. Yesterday it was 21.39. The threshold is 67 percent. The constitutional committee now stands at 2 yes and 0 no. In favor are the Cardano Foundation with about 144.6 million ADA, EMURGO with about 212.2 million, and Yoroi with about 398.2 million. Against is YUTA with about 479.6 million. The project targets implementation in Telangana. It expires in epoch 669, around 20 November. AURORA, 940 thousand ADA, is at 3.43 percent, with the constitutional committee at 0 yes and 3 no. That is a third no. It expires around 20 November. Copper, 22 million ADA, is at 0.40 percent, with the constitutional committee at 0 yes and 3 no, also a third no. It expires in epoch 668, around 15 November. The Developer Survey 2026 information action is at 5.51 percent. Yesterday it was 0.32. The constitutional committee has a first yes. It expires in epoch 671, around 30 November. The Cardano Foundation invites responses. Last year there were 109. @Cardano_CF posted that at 17:08 on 2 November, with 125 likes and 11,797 views.
The treasury still stands at 1,392,896,975.26 ADA, unchanged inside the epoch, up 3.62 million from epoch 664. Pending is 32.54 million ADA, about 2.34 percent of the treasury. That is a calculation, not an approval. There are no new payouts today.
The node, the tools, and the calendar
Leios rc-2026w44 is still the pre-release from 22:39 on 1 November. Musashi Dojo is entering the Fire phase, with a rising load. Consensus pull request 2475 goes to the leios-prototype branch, not to main. Musashi is live as a testnet. DijkstraNet is live on protocol 12 without Leios. Those are two networks. The Hard Fork Working Group meets today at 17:00 Central European time. The agenda: 11.2 and 11.3, including CIP-23, the Dijkstra risk log, documentation of the remaining scope in pull request 43, an updated Leios impact assessment, Dijkstra parameters in the CAP, node diversity, and funding for the group. The summary is still empty. The last minutes are from 27 October. Weekly 136 has not shipped. The last one is 135, from 30 October. The latest posts on updates.cardano are from 29 October and earlier.
Hydra has had no release since 2.4.2, from 22 October. Commit 2932, from 2 November, changes the trusted setup and raises the snapshot size from 4,095 to 32,767. On the ledger master, pull request 6222, MempoolTx, merged on 2 November, and pull request 6237, TopTxInfo, merged on 3 November. ouroboros-consensus 2455 merged to main, and the block header specification moves to markdown. Dingo v0.90.3 shipped on 2 November, and v0.90.4 today at 12:09, with fixes for chain selection, peer governance, and the database. Mithril has only an unstable build from 2 November. The stable release is still 2642.0, from 16 October. Dugite has a conformance corpus from 1 November.
CIP-0113 has been in production since 2 October 2026. The only audited module is CPT-RWA-CH. Freeze and seize, and KYC, are experimental. Version 2 brings partial freezes. SongMarketCap reports that today at 13:43. Mesmo compiles the Cardano Client Lib through GraalVM into a C ABI, with wrappers for Python, Go, Rust, and JavaScript, without a JVM. The author is Mateusz Czeladka, at the 84th Developers Office Hours. SongMarketCap reports that today at 13:46. The same source, at 21:12 on 2 November, has a piece on Frederik Gregaard and verifiable records beyond cryptocurrency. No claim was extracted from that piece, so it is not paraphrased here.
Peter Bui of ADAOZ explains CVE-2026-98432 as a TCP use-after-free from kernel 4.4. Relays are exposed. An attacker could learn a block producer's IP. Delegated ADA stays in the owners' wallets. The Ubuntu patch status was not checked again today. At 20:19 on 2 November @CORVApool wrote that the kernel should be patched and restarted, and that delegators risk only rewards. SongMarketCap has that piece from 19:00 on 2 November.
From the ecosystem, briefly. Atlas opened a public mainnet beta of BTC/USD perpetuals, with stablecoin collateral, leverage up to 5x, and a fee of 0.20 percent plus 1 ADA per order. The operator sets the prices. The ATLAS token is at 0.503953 ADA, up 3.46 percent on the day and up 5.28 percent over seven days. Solada.fun V3 on Gero Nexus splits fees: 50 percent to creators and holders, the rest to SOLADA holders, the burn, the liquidity pair, and the treasury. SOLADA is at 0.00217 ADA, down 10.29 percent on the day and up 30.9 percent over seven days. Nexus covers Cardano, Midnight, and Bitcoin. Unity SDK v1.0, Catalyst Fund 12, MIT, CIP-30, and WebGL templates, has no adoption figures. The draft of NIGHT rewards is on the Midnight desk. The Trezor warning is on the crypto desk.
