Hoskinson is building a Cardano language, and Dingo nears 100 percent on Amaru tests

Cardano Daily
Charles Hoskinson on 18 October at 04:52 CEST writes that he is “personally” developing a programming language for Cardano, “the first of its kind, enabling intents and PCD via Groth16 proofs”, with @rvcas (@IOHK_Charles). Name, specification and deadline: information is not available (U.Today). @rvcas is Lucas Rosa, co-founder of Aiken. SPO @ItsDave_ADA notes that Plutus V3 already verifies Groth16 proofs, so the news is at the language layer, not an L1 primitive. SPOs are neutral to positive; users are mixed, and by reach mostly positive.
Blink Labs brought Dingo (Go node) into Amaru's conformance tests: 98.92 percent ledger, 98.77 percent UPLC and 98.35 percent CBOR; after v0.85.0 “100% across 3 of the suites”. v0.85.0 (17 Oct) adds Blockfrost queries and Midnight and Leios fixes. @_KtorZ_ (Amaru): “None of those reports are ready yet.” @defitap_io says “Testnet only.”; BBHMM cites “37 mainnet blocks” for @Star_Forge_Pool — on-chain verification is unavailable.
Consensus #2417, tag 11.2 and governance
Consensus #2417 merged today at 10:50 CEST: Leios announcements go through one NotifyLog with a per-peer cursor; a peer that forwards the same announcement twice is disconnected. Dugite published conformance corpus 20261018. cardano-node: the latest release and tag remains 11.1.3 (29 Sep); tag 11.2 does not exist. Master has been quiet since 16 Oct; PRs #6677, #6709 and #6736 sit. HFWG still aims for “mainnet-ready” in the week of 19 Oct; without a tag that is not achievable. DijkstraNet is not live.
The k poll (expires 21 Oct): DRep 5.02 percent / SPO 2.04 percent. Copper 22 million ADA: 0.24 percent with 19 “no” votes. About 42.6 million ADA remains under the NCL. RFP for utxoCostPerByte: deadline 4 Nov. Calendar: CF Research Exchange 19 Oct, HFWG 20 Oct.
