ESMA is targeting large CASPs, Blur is shutting down, and Ledger's delta now includes frozen USDT

Cardano Daily
The day away from Cardano and Bitcoin was not about one price. It was about who supervises exchanges in Europe, who is shutting an NFT market, and who still holds the hardware after the implant.
MiCA, Blur, South Korea
The EU Council on 9 October agreed a direction that 10 to 15 of about 360 CASPs fall under direct ESMA supervision, with a threshold of 15 million users or three of five criteria. Malta is opposed. The transition would last two years. CryptoSlate the same day writes about closing a loophole that covers 27 countries with one licence.
Blur shuts its web on 12 November. Blend stops new loans. Volume, according to Kriptoteme, has fallen about 99.5 percent. The same founder is also shutting Blast. The FSB ahead of the G20 on 15 October warns that stablecoins of about $306 billion have not been tested in a crisis.
South Korea is moving to block 27 crypto sites, including KuCoin, MEXC and BingX. Rule 3280, on seizing and selling bitcoin for debts, takes effect on 1 November.

Ledger, Tether, MediaMarkt
Cointelegraph today writes about LTE and eSIM implants in wallets tied to CryptoBilis. Tether froze $10 million USDT. Losses between $86 million and $103 million are not confirmed. MediaMarktSaturn pulled Ledger from its shelves. Trezor and OneKey removed CryptoBilis. That is a delta on the weekend, not a new case.
