Weekly 135 warns of a kernel flaw, node 11.2 stays a pre-release, and 11.3 with Leios is three to four weeks away

Daily on Cardano
The new weekly review has arrived, and the kernel patch has not. Intersect Weekly 135, from 30 October, warns pool operators about Linux kernel CVE-2026-98432. The score is 9.8. Ubuntu patches are still waiting. This briefing's sample has no direct operator reaction to that warning. That gap stays a gap. At 11:44 on 30 October @r0ckstardev shared a script for temporary protection of an Ubuntu server. The post has 172 likes and 24,892 views. The script is unofficial. This desk does not retell it.
The same review confirms that 11.2 moves DijkstraNet into the Dijkstra era, and that 11.3 with Leios is realistically three to four weeks away, two at the earliest. Dijkstra is the next ledger era. Leios is consensus throughput. cardano-node 11.2.0 is still the pre-release from 28 October and is not recommended for mainnet. SongMarketCap, in an article of 30 October, holds that the CLI supports sub-transactions and guard credentials, that the submit API accepts Dijkstra transactions, that Plutus V4 is ready with protocol 12, that nodes older than 11.2 cannot read the new versioned config, that gRPC was added, and that Linear Leios is not active in this release. That is a reading of that article. Yesterday's protocol desk already unpacked the same pre-release. A mainnet-ready 11.2.x is still not tagged.
On the ledger repository, pull request 6216, certificate validation, merged on 29 October, and 6215, EB and EBLEDGERS, on 30 October. BlockPQR of 30 October describes errors for invalid certificates, a ban on reusing a BLS key, and Dijkstra fees and rewards. In that report the CLI gains transaction guards and sub-transaction signing. Nested transactions mean batching at ledger level. Dingo v0.90.1, published on 31 October, activates the DijkstraNet era. That is an alternative node, not cardano-node. At 12:19 today @Lucasdb86 wrote that LEIOSCERT has merged, but that it is Dijkstra-era code, not something already live. The post has one like and 31 views. At 16:05 on 30 October @angrycryptoshow claimed Leios is closer to mainnet and that the hard fork is 5 percent complete. That metric is not verifiable. Mithril IPFS milestones worth 658,718 ADA have been approved. The AMM is at the start of December. Teragone finished sprint 6 with a new mainnet release. Input Output published a weekly review and Peras clips with Peter Gazi. Peras is faster finality inside the Dijkstra era. The content of the clips stops here at that sentence. The Cardano Foundation posted about programmable tokens on X. The blog returns 429, so that article was not checked.

Votes and the 2027 budget
Around 14:10, Koios holds the PFMS proposal for 9.6 million ADA at 27 yes, 27 no, and 5 abstain. Yes power is 20.92 percent. The threshold is 67 percent. Yesterday yes power was 20.30 percent. The path over three days is 17.74, then 20.30, then 20.92. The proposal expires on 20 November. The constitutional committee is 1 yes. At 21:00 on 30 October Adastat held PFMS at 20.5 percent. That is not the same snapshot as Koios at 20.92. AURORA, for 940,000 ADA, is at 13 yes, 46 no, and 9 abstain, power 3.32 percent, the same as yesterday, constitutional committee 2 no, deadline 20 November. Copper, for 22 million ADA, is at 4 yes, 89 no, and 5 abstain, power 0.36 percent, constitutional committee 2 no, deadline 15 November. The information poll is at 3 yes, 2 no, and 18 abstain, power 0.29 percent, deadline 30 November. No withdrawal has cleared the threshold.
CEBP, the budget proposal for 2027, splits the Net Change Limit into seven domains. DReps still decide each payout. The information action is on 10 November. 2027 would be a trial year. The stewards are Intersect for the core, research, and governance coordination, PRAGMA for developer support, and the Cardano Foundation for marketing and adoption. Open Contributions has no steward. Stewards do not receive automatic funding. That is SongMarketCap from 30 October. ESCO wants an open competition for the stewards, as with PRIME. The sentiment is mixed. At 11:26 on 30 October @hix_coffeepool wrote that the Net Change Limit was broken by DRep votes and that categories do not help without mechanical enforcement. At 21:03 on 30 October @InputEndorsers published a position on CEBP. The post has 25 likes and 596 views. The content of that position stops here at the link.
The treasury in epoch 664 stands at 1,389,274,981.55 ADA, up 3.60 million. Requests for 32.54 million ADA are waiting, about 2.3 percent. That percentage is a calculation, not an approval. SongMarketCap from 30 October reports that ESCO said on an X Space that too much commercial activity revolves around the treasury and that he wants return projections. DRep James Meidinger, Blockjock, cites USDM adoption in traditional companies. AlphaGrowth is asking 120 million ADA for PRIME. ESCO supports the direction and stresses execution. On 29 October, on Cardano Over Coffee, Eric Waisanen said the first wave of PRIME targets more than $200 million of additional TVL. The components are a DEX, isolated lending markets, liquidations, liquidity management, and vaults. The insurance goal is premiums under 2 percent a year. That has not been reached. The DRep DAO platform, Catalyst, 94,000 ADA, is complete, and the DRep Council supports voting in PRIME. That row was not deep-read, so it stops at that sentence. CIP-113 has been on mainnet since 7 October. It lets issuers put rules on native tokens through modules, including KYC-only transfers, deny lists, and freeze and seize, without a hard fork. Deploi issues a credit token that only approved investors may hold. Sundae and Liqwid announce pools that combine trading and lending. The body of that piece was not opened here. Fluid, Orion, IBC, and Reeve have not moved since 30 October.
The calendar, and what is quiet
Musashi Dojo is in the Fire phase. DijkstraNet is a public testnet waiting on 11.2 for the Dijkstra era. Mainnet is not there. EMURGO and Yoroi deregister their DReps on 30 November. That date is from the file, not a new vote.
Calendar, Central European time. Epoch 665 begins tonight at 22:44:51. Binance's proof of reserves and the Research Exchange are on 2 November. The Hard Fork Working Group is on 3 November. The PQC TSC is on 4 November. An Amaru block producer on mainnet is planned for 5 November. That is a plan, not confirmation that the producer is already there. Office Hours 86 and the Sundae poll are on 6 November. The CEBP information action is on 10 November. MSCI decides on Strategy on 11 November. London is on 12 and 13 November. The next bitcoin retarget is estimated around 13 November. Copper expires on 15 November. Still quiet: Leios rc-2026w44, a mainnet 11.2.x, a Hydra release after 2.4.2 of 22 October, and the Cardano tag on Cointelegraph since 21 October. The Essential Cardano dev report of 30 October returns 404. The last one in the index is 23 October.
